Winners: Shurima Desert! Gratz!

The competing areas have been decided and they now need summoners to fight for their cause

Each needs 4 summoners, the game mode will be 4v4

Shurima: Cellomaniac, tbum, Maldred, Alfierules

Match details
The matches will happen next weekend, times not 100% set yet but hopefully we'll start it off around noon PST saturday
There will be 3 matches
Match 1
Noxus vs Yordles
Match 2
Demacia vs Shurima
Match 3 (FINALS)
Winner of Match 1 vs Winner of Match 2

All matches are best out of 1 and without bans - champions will be picked before hand in draft mode style - the game itself will open in blind pick

Winner will be decided once a nexus is destoyed or a team surenders

First ban/first pick wil be decided with a number randomizer

It is up to the individual teams to decide what setup they are going with only 4 team members


Rules will be updated during the week

Everyone can sign up for their favorite team, please dont sign up for a team if you wont be able to be there next weekend - once 4 summoners have claimed their spot on a team no more can join

All matches will be streamed and hopefully commentated - I need one person that do not wish to play on the teams to help me with this, I will be streaming all matches on the 5th slot. if more people are interested in this I will be chosing who gets the "job"

Lets make some kind of vs. tournament

In the LoL lore there's a lot of city states and regions and a lot of champions can be put under these so lets make some kind honor match between the most popular ones

So I guess its time for a vote guys

Heres the candidates

Noxus
Champions: cass, mundo, kat, leblanc, morg, singed, sion, swain, vlad, urgot, ww

Ionia
Champions: irelia, karma, lee sin, yi, soraka, akali, kennen, shen, udyr

Yordles
Champions: corki, heimer, poppy, rumble, teemo, trist, amumu, kennen, veigar

Piltover
Champions: cait, corki, ez, heimer, orianna

Zaun
Champions: mundo, singed, twitch, urgot, ww, blitz, janna, tf

Demacia
Chapions: galio, garen, jarvan, lux, poppy, sona, vayne, xin

Shurima desert
Champions: amumu, ez, malz, nasus, rammus, renekton

Imprisoned champions
Champions: brand, cho, fiddle, kog, noc, renek, kayle

Yes I am aware that some characters are in more than one group and yes I am aware that some of the champions plcements can be discussed, but we wont, vote on the ones you favorize and want to see battle it out and the Meridian members will make the teams that has to battle for their destination's glory

I think more champs should be added. o.O Ionia team had udyr, soraka, amumu, ashe, and kennen. Noxus team had vlad, sion, MF, singed and morgana. so should udyr/mumu/ashe be added to ionia and MF be added to noxus?

according to the lore Ive been reading they do not fill into those list

I expect that they during that "official" fight took some champions from supporting states and filled them into some empty slots to make sure there was an even amount on both sides and so the teams could be relatively fair - its not really so important in this case...because honestly I cannot find any lore that backs up that they should be in those groups, but if you find it for me, please let me know ^^

actually udyr was supposed to be on the ionia list, thats my bad, for some reason he didnt get copied from my list

according to the wiki and the lore mumu does not come from Ionia, he found himself wrapped in bandages in the shurima desert, which is why that's the team he's on - in more dept its assumed that his birthplace is bandle city since he's a yordle behind all the bandages, which is why he also is on the yordle team

and ashe is from freljord which is nor a part of Ionia

I actually almost had a team that could cover ashe, although there is only 4 champions that cover that category (ashe, tryn, nunu, anivia)

mf fights for Bligewater NOT Noxus, its true that Bligewater and Noxus can be said to be on good terms, but MF is not a noxian champion

oh, and whats the general opinion, you want a top 2, 3 or 4 battle?

So were going to make teams as members to fight as the city states? I vote 4

yea, once we've decided what groups are fighting you guys will get the chance to sign up for the teams and fight for them, my only concern is that 4 teams means we need 20 people that are interested in playing

I already checked the void, but there is only 4 void champions

kass, kog, malz, cho...so not enough for a whole team

I thought Nocturne was one of the Void as well?

actually I thought so too until I read his lore
what he is is not 100% certain but his physical form is created from energy arced from the nexus in the twisted treeline
even in the lore its said that the "League scholars" do not know from where he came, could be the plane of dreams or a persons nightmare
He is however trapped by the league and is fighting against his will, you could say, which is why he's in the group of imprisoned champions
