The weekend almost over and it has been an amazing one
Ive been very happy with the interest in the Dreamhack tournament, with all the people coming together on vent and discussing/cheering along side the games, it's been an incredible experience, and the kind we need if we want to improve our play, learn from the best
Im hoping to see a lot of you online tomorrow when the finals are going down, I will be here for 100% sure, no doubt about that - even after TSM broke me and Tage's hearts today
Second we had our first inhouse tournament, a 1v1 version, and it was awesome
With the small member base we where able to get 16 contestants and only very few didnt manage to show up, and there was an awesome support from the players online, helping with spectating the matches, I really wanna say thank you to all of you for making this such a good experience and I hope the mood is there for doing something similar in the future, because Im certainly up for it
We can't forget the winner,
Sephiire managed to beat all oponents and came out as a strong winner, congratulations to you Seph!
There where some really good matches during the tourney and the applicant tbum gave Seph a good challenge in the finals
Seph (for the victory) and tbum (ironic enough he won the random pick from Meridian chat) both won 10$ worth of RIOT points - there has been some issues with the prizes, but that has been 100% RIOT caused, but they will recieve their prizes, have been yelling at RIOT today
Again thank you for an awesome weekend guys, I really like how Meridian has developed over so short time, and Im really looking forward to see what happens over the summer, especially with the members finally creating a second team, TeamSlaughterHouse, TMG cant wait to make some good scrims with you guys, the practice doesnt get much better than that
